2+2 ATC

Here are 3 of my 4 ATCs for a Cricut swap hosted by GrammaP.
We had to use at least 2 techniques and only 2 colors. Very challenging but fun.
The "sailboat" was stamped and then heat embossed and has a blue alcohol ink background.
The "lily" is also heat embossed, then inked, and layered. I used pink markers and lime green.
The did the "birds" with black embossing powder and then punced them into inchies which I popped up on crimped paper.

Dominican Republic

We just got back from a weeks vacation in Punta Cana Dominican Republic.
We went with a large group and stayed at an all inclusive resort. The weather was perfect all week and we spent lots of time at the beach and the resort. We did go on a side trip one day to explore the island. All of the proceeds from selling their logo hats, shirts, etc were going to Haiti. We thought it was a nice gesture on their part as the DR and Haiti do not get along at all!!!

A few cards

I made these for a couple swaps I am in on the Cricut MB.
They all have individual themes. I have been trying to experiment with different techniques also and really like the Vintage look. This was also my first try at Iris folding.

ATC's

I have become addicted to ATCs!!!!!
I am in 2 different ATC swaps right now and eagerly await their arrival so I can marvel over the ideas people come up with.
The last one I was in of GrammaP's was a huge success!!!! It was a "Mix & Match" swap where you had to combine 2 different ideas together to make your ATC. My "Grinch" one is from that swap. Her new one is "2+2" Swap where you need 2 techniques and 2 colors to make your ATC.
Here are some various ATCs that I have made for swaps.

Snow & more SNOW!!!!

Well we had about 18" of snow just before Christmas, then rain to wash it all away and now more SNOW!!! It started yesterday, then cleared up, but now it is snowing again. Only a little this time around though. Looks like a crafting day!!!

Paint can Swap

I hosted a Paint Can Swap recently and this is the one I did for my partner.
It is Oriental themed and was really lots of fun to make. All the participants in the swap made some really nice cans. Here is a link if anyone would like to check them out!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR

I just realized that I haven't been on here in quite some time.
Where does the time go?
I keep trying to post my "Sisters" layout but the picture ends up sideways!!! Guess I'll try something else and see if my sister will post it on her blog.

I participated in a BOAB swap(box on a budget)and was challenged to make many items I have never tried before. Here are a few pictures. A little wooden box and some tiles.
